Get started as a TRADEit affiliate
- Register free. Complete your registration. No paid membership is required.
- Get your personal link. Open your affiliate dashboard and copy your unique referral link.
- Choose your material. Select a message and poster. Replace the placeholder with your own link if it has not been filled in automatically.
- Share responsibly. Disclose that you may earn commission. Avoid spam, guaranteed-income claims or promises that items will sell.
- Refer before registration. Customers must open your link before creating a new account in the same browser, within the 30-day referral window.
- Track earnings. Earn 20% of eligible TRADEit fees after verification, including qualifying renewals and repeat listing payments.
- Arrange your payout. Contact info@tradeitzambia.com to confirm payout details and arrangements.
Payout guidance
Payouts are arranged manually by bank transfer or mobile money. Check your unpaid commissions in the dashboard, then email your affiliate username and request payout arrangements. TRADEit will confirm the amount, payment details and date. Recording commission does not transfer money automatically.
Contact TRADEit to confirm any applicable payout minimum or timing before relying on a particular payout date. Never send passwords or mobile-money PINs.
Frequently asked questions
Is joining free?
Yes. You do not need a paid TRADEit membership to become an affiliate.
How much can I earn?
You earn 20% of eligible, verified Personal listing fees, Business subscriptions and Business Premium subscriptions paid by customers you refer.
Is commission based on the item’s selling price?
No. It is based on the eligible fee paid to TRADEit. For example, a K200 listing fee earns K40 commission.
Do I earn when someone registers?
No. Free registrations, unpaid requests and recruiting affiliates alone do not earn commission.
Will I keep earning when a customer renews?
Yes. Qualifying renewals and repeat listing payments from your attributed customer earn commission after payment verification.
How does TRADEit track my referrals?
The customer must open your personal referral link before creating a new account, using the same browser. The referral cookie lasts 30 days. If several affiliate links are used before registration, the last tracked affiliate receives attribution. Browser settings and cookies can affect tracking.
Can I refer someone who already has an account?
Opening your link does not reassign an existing account to you.
Does sharing a poster automatically track my referrals?
No. Include your personal referral link in the accompanying message. A poster or ordinary website link alone does not identify you.
What does unpaid commission mean?
The commission has been recorded as earned but has not yet been transferred to you.
How do I receive my money?
Payouts are arranged manually by bank transfer or mobile money. Contact info@tradeitzambia.com to confirm your payout details and date.
What happens if a customer receives a refund?
Refunded or reversed payments do not qualify. Unpaid commissions may be rejected, and commissions already paid require reconciliation.
Can I earn commission from my own payments?
No. Self-referrals do not qualify.
Is income guaranteed?
No. Earnings depend on qualifying verified payments from customers you refer. Examples illustrate the calculation, not a promise of income.
